Ease of Compliance Integrated Payroll

The recent launch by the Ministry of Labour and Employment in 2016 and published on Feb 2017, in a bid to ease the operations for employers and reducing number of registers will help the companies considerably.
They are named as the Ease of Compliance to maintain registers under various Labour Laws 2017. They are maintained electronically and consolidates 56 registers into just 5 under the Mines Rules 1955.
The registers like Form B, Form C, Form E, Form F, Form G, Form H and Form I are no longer required. Also new registers have 144 data fields as against the 933 filed under the previous set of registers.
The Acts covered under the rule are:-
So now the 5 registers that has to be maintained under the Ease of Compliance Act (EOC) are :-
FORM A - Employee Register
FORM D - Attendance Register
FORM B - Wage Register
FORM C - Register of Loan and Recoveries
FORM E - Register of leave, rest and paid leaves.
The layout and presentation of the registers can be adjusted in lieu with the serial number, column content and layout. The Govt also plans to include a free software which will help to maintain these registers in the electronic form. It will be uploaded in the "Shram Suvidha portal" of the Govt later.
The initiative will no doubt cut down efforts and costs buy an effective implementation will be integral.
